Getting Serious about the Bible

12 Noon Monday-Friday

The great discovery is that the Bible is a message system: it’s not simply 66 books penned by 40 authors over thousands of years, the Bible is an integrated whole which bears evidence of supernatural engineering in every detail!

Derek Prince

Reaching the Unreached

7.15am & 9.30pm Monday-Friday

This gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations and then the end will come.’ It seemed the words were written across the sky. Then God spoke to me,’ This is priority number one for My people at this time.

I responded, ‘I am committed to the educational work I am now doing, but when I have finished ‘ploughing this furrow,’ will You please bring my life in line with Your priorities?’

Twenty years later, I saw how God had been moving to answer this prayer. In 1978, when I married Ruth, my ministry began to line up more fully with God’s priorities. In February 1979, just four months after we were married, my daily radio broadcast ‘Today With Derek Prince’ went on the air on eight stations in the United States. The word God gave me was:

‘Proclaim! Short, simple messages, easily understood, declaring basic scriptural truths.’

Word for Today

7.45am & 12.45pm  Mon-Fri

Whether you live in a capital city or it is an hour’s helicopter ride to the nearest supermarket we want you to be able to access, not only this excellent devotional, but also great Christian music, teaching and resources for our ministry.

Romans 10:12-13 says “…the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Every day we get requests from people all across our ‘sunburnt’ country who are after a copy of The Word for Today. And hardly a week goes by without us getting at least one new Vision radio station on air. This is because we’re committed to getting the Gospel message into every community in Australia.

We’re passionate about seeing people get closer to God through developing a discipline of daily Bible reading. So this devotional – The Word for Today – and its youth counterpart, word4U2day, are available as a free gift to Australians in order to encourage this daily walk with Jesus.
